Lane Closures on Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 68 on Sat. Nov. 21st

LANE CLOSURES ON HIGHWAYS 1 AND 68 SET FOR THIS SATURDAY IN MONTEREY

MONTEREY COUNTY – Work on highway signs in the city of Monterey will necessitate lane closures on Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 68 this Saturday, Nov. 21. On Saturday, from 7 to 9 am, crews will close the right (#2) lane of northbound Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 68.

Also, on Saturday Nov. 21, from 10 am to 1 pm, crews will close the right (#2) lane of westbound Highway 68 at the Fremont St. on-ramp. Motorists can expect delays of up to five minutes and are encouraged to give themselves a little extra time when traveling in the area.

Electronic message signs will be activated to inform the public about this sign work. Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
