THE MUPPET MOVIE

The Muppets travel across the United States to Hollywood for a movie deal; Oscar nominee for Musical Score and Song (“The Rainbow Connection”); Scenes filmed at Rancho San Carlos Road, Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel Valley (The Muppets go singing “Moving Right Along” and driving in an old Jalopy truck through a grove of mossy live oak trees, which doubled for Louisiana Swampland). There was a Big Bird scene on Foster Road near 68, at S. Davis Road driving in circles, as well a filming along River Road driving past lettuce fields.
