The Monterey County Film Commission’s 17th annual celebration of Hollywood’s Academy Awards® presentation night, took place on Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Tehama Golf Club, Carmel. This year’s benefit evening theme was “The Big Night 2007.”

Guests felt like they were a part of filmmaking’s biggest night with a live big screen telecast of the Oscar® winners, a seated dinner with Bernardus wines, and a silent auction. The event benefited the nonprofit film commission, which works to enhance economic development in the county through the film industry.

This year a new “Reel Friends After Party” was held after the telecast at Tehama, offering champagne, chocolates and specialty coffees.  For information about next year's event, please call the Film Commission office at 831-646-0910.
