18th Annual Big Night Gala Held Feb. 24, 2008
The beautiful ballroom at the Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach was the setting for the Monterey County Film Commission’s Big Night Gala, which celebrated Hollywood’s big night of the Academy Awards® presentation. The live telecast was projected on a giant screen, showing movie stars bigger than life. The evening featured delicious dinner and wine, a red carpet arrival, and a silent auction benefiting the non-profit and its new student filmmaker scholarship program. KSBW-TV news anchor Dan Green was the emcee. Event sponsors included Jeff A. Fortin with NESTech Management Group, Inc., Joanne Gimbel, Nader Agha with Holman Antique Plaza, and Eric and Teresa Del Piero.
